Worst Fall 2009 Movie Trailers

Jennifer's Body (2009)
A hot girl at school seems to hold a dark secret, and she is always after the guys. Can anyone save the day before it's too late? Starring Meagan Fox, the trailer for this film is horrible. Meagan Fox plays a typical role, one in which all the girls envy and the guys lust after. What really makes this a bad movie trailer is the lame attempt to cash in on Meagan Fox's sex appeal. It looks like all she will be doing in the movie is going after guys and wearing pretty outfits. The movie doesn't look like it will be scary or mysterious, just cheesy and bloody. This film brings nothing new to the table, and I wouldn't be surprised if it makes fifty million the first week and drops sharply after that.

Sorority Row (2009)
An all too real prank goes terribly wrong and it involves girls in a sorority. Of course to diversify, instead of an all white cast, there is one Asian. With college and friendships at stake, they get rid of the body and promise to keep it to themselves. After graduation though, a killer shows up in a black hooded coat, going after the one's who know the events of the past. There are numerous movies with a group of friends that get together and something terrible happens. The script is going to be a normal one, filled with gruesome deaths and everyone thinking that they person they killed came back to kill them. The killer is most likely the guy they played the prank on, or one of the girls themselves. Or they could bust out the 'surprise' sibling or a grief-stricken best friend that was watching them from afar the whole time. Besides the typical plot, what makes it even worse is that it does not look like it will be thrilling or scary at all. I guess the target audience for this film are teenagers and people who get sacred easily. Add all of this together and you get one of the worst movie trailers of the year.

The September Issue (2009)
The editor-in-chief of Vogue, Amy Wintour, gives an in depth look at her magazine. She usually guards the details of how it works... until recently. She is regarded highly for her picks and taste in the fashion world. Why make a movie of what one woman thinks of what is in style? Who would want to watch a film about clothes and fashion designers? Is it really that important to make a documentary of people feeling fabric and strutting around on catwalks? The trailer for this film makes it seem exciting with quick cut scenes of fashion models, but it is not all that exciting. For coming soon movie trailers, this one really is awful.

I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009)
It looks like Madea is always in trouble, and this time catches delinquents robbing her home. The movie revolves around the kids and their mom. The trailer for this film does not look like it will be any good at all. Just how many times will Tyler Perry dress up as a woman? And a grandma at that? In any event, the gag is wearing very thin and this film looks terrible. It looks like Tyler Perry is fishing desperately for a plot.

New Moon (2009)
As the main character Bella, relaxes with Edwards family an incident occurs that put her life at risk. Edward leaves Bella and she start to live a reckless life. But danger is everywhere, and who is there to trust?
This movie is filled with new actors and only one decent one, Kristen Stewart. This is on the list because of the horrible acting everyone displays. Did the director see any of this on his side of the lens? What's worse is the insane amount of money that this movie is bound to make from teenagers and werewolf fans. Aren't these types of movies getting kind of old? The torn lovers script? And of course, it will turn out in two ways. Either she gets her old boyfriend back or someone will die trying to protect Bella, and I have never read the books.
