Worst Movie Trailers of Fall 2009

Theatrical trailers are a glimpse into what new movies have to offer. Obviously the better the preview the more people will be excited and anxious to see the upcoming movie. Unfortunately some previews don't do their movie any justice. You either have a great preview that is packed full of action and that's really all the movie has to offer or you have a really good movie with a crappy trailer so you wind up not going to watch it. Here is a list of the worst trailers out this fall. The movies could be great, but you would never know it after watching the preview.

"The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard" - There is absolutely nothing about this preview that makes me want to watch this movie. The movie is supposed to be a comedy, however I really didn't see anything extremely funny when I watched the trailer. I seriously doubt that I will be going to see The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. This movie comes out August 14.

"Inglorious Basterds" - This movie looks is if it might be pretty decent, however you cant really tell from the preview. This trailer is down right annoying. It might be because Brad Pitt is starring in the movie or because Quentin Tarantino is a pretty weird director, but no matter what the case this trailer doesn't really draw people into the movie. If you want to see Inglorious Basterds it will be in theaters on August 21.

"Pandorum" - Despite the fact that there are some quality actors in this movie, I am not impressed with the trailer for Pandorum. You cant really tell what is going on and honestly the movie just looks like crap. After watching this trailer I'll probably wait for the movie to come out on video. If you want to watch Pandorum then you can see it in theaters September 18.

"Couples Retreat" - Honestly I think that this trailer is no good, because the movie is no good. Basically a group of couples go to a retreat for therapy. End of story. This preview isn't the worst on the list, but it definitely isn't the best. It will be interesting to see how this movie does at the box office. Couples Retreat comes out on October 9.

"Where the Wild Things Are" - I know that this was a really popular book and a highly anticipated movie, but I hate this movie with a passion. I really don't like the preview because of the music, the creatures, and everything else. There is nothing that could make me want to go and see this movie, especially the trailer. For all of you that are interested in seeing Where the Wild Things Are you can catch it in theaters this October 16.
