Would You Use Money to Wrap Gifts?

Funsponge
Today, I was browsing through the internet when I came to this story on www.luxist.com. It's about a woman who uses one dollar bills as wrapping paper. Her name is Edwina Rogers. She is the wife of Washington lobbyist Ed Rogers. She orders money sheets from the United States Bureau of Engraving. Then she uses the money sheets like ordinary wrapping paper. She says she only wraps small gifts with the money sheets but it's a waste of perfectly good money.

Do you know how many people die from starvation, diseases, and cancer? The answer is billions of people all around the world. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 652, 0911 people have died from heart disease, 559, 312 have died from cancer, 143, 579 have died from a stroke, 75,119 have died from diabetes, and over 500,00 people have died from AIDS. All over the world, little children go to bed starving while Edwina Rogers wraps her gifts with sheets of dollar bills.

One money sheet of one dollar bills sells for $55 dollars. How many money sheet sdoes she use? If she buys ten money sheets of one dollar bills, then she would be spending about $550 dollars. She could donate that money to charity or cancer and disease research funds. But instead she wastes the perfectly good money wrapping gifts for her friends. I wonder how many other people are like her? How many other people waste their money on unimportant things while others in the world suffer? What is this world coming to?
