NOTE: GOT SIDETRACKED TODAY HERE IN ILLINOIS WITH THE BLAGO NEWS...Wrap It Up adds No. 34 to the times I've seen Jimmy Buffett. Alpine Alley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin, was the latest show Saturday. See you at Bridgeview, near Chicago in July for No. 35.
WEEKEND BO
1. "Cars" - $68 million
2. "Bad Teacher" - $31 million
3. "Green Lantern" - $18.6 million.

Notes: Fridays' Dump It column focused on the idea that "Cars 2" better win the weekend for all those screens it would be on. Tires would roll if it didn't was my speculation. No worry, it won the weekend. Another big story for me was the 65 percent drop for "Green Lantern" in its second week just as they announced a sequel would be in the offing. I counted five films of the top ten in double digits. Meanwhile, a holiday kickoff for Transformers 3" will arrive Wednesday. The others will wait until Friday. They are "Larry Crowne" and "Monte Carlo."
