A Sasha Wrap is a versatile baby carrier that's easy to use and comfortable to wear. It also offers benefits to both babies and parents. Some of these benefits include: providing safety and security for your child, fostering a nurturing environment, having your child close to you, and being able to get chores done around the house and snuggling your needy baby at the same time. It has also been supported by research that babies who are worn cry less, sleep better and have better stronger bonds with their parents as adults. (Sasha's Inspirations)
A Sasha Wrap is one the most comfortable ways to carry your baby or toddler. Since it is a wrap carrier there are no buckles, hooks or fussy straps to deal with, it is simple to put on anytime and anywhere. Unlike other carriers the wrap carrier has no strain on your back or shoulders. Nothing digs into your skin making carrying your child enjoyable and comfortable. (Sasha's Inspirations) The wrap carries newborn to toddler so it will last you through many years of baby wearing. Plus it is easy to roll or fold and store in your car or diaper bag when not in use.
Ease of use: A wrap carrier is basically a long piece of material about 4 to 6 yards long and very wide. It may be very tricky to figure out at first and a lot of new wrappers get very confused yet, each Sasha wrap comes with a Computer CD with instructions on how to use your wrap.
The CD is easy to follow and shows you step by step on how to place on your wrap. The owner is also very helpful and will be glad to help you if you have anymore questions about your wrap. When I bought my wrap from her she sent numerous emails the following few days to make sure everything was alright with my wrap. I found it very thoughtful and caring of her. There are also many useful videos and photos on how to wrap your child all over the internet if you need even more help.
Comfort: Sasha Wraps are made from a soft Cotton/Polyester material. They come highly recommended by Chiropractors. The Sasha Wrap is designed to evenly distribute your child's weight, so your child feels light and secure on your body without any neck, back or shoulder discomfort.(Sasha's Inspirations) The Sasha wrap is so much more comfortable then any other carrier out there. .You can spread the fabric out across your shoulders to your liking and the carrier is made of breathable fabric with just enough stretch, but not too much where you have to constantly re-adjust your wrap. My Moby wrap had the stretch but did not breathe as much as this carrier does. Even in the hottest days of summer it feels cool. The pockets are made out of a very soft micro-fleece so they have a nice feel perfect for both mommy and baby.
Cuteness factor: Sasha Wraps come in various colors. They are custom made by a work at home mom so each one is made just for you. When you purchase a wrap, you have the choice in what color to make your wrap along with the choice of a pocket color and if you want to have a cute print fleece or cotton fabric pocket. You can even opt out of having a pocket all together. The owner is always purchasing new fabric color choices so each time you purchase their is something new.
Price: Sasha wraps are available for purchase through the Sasha's Inspirations webpage at http://www.sashawrap.com/index.html . The cost for each custom made wrap is $40.00 and each wrap is made uniquely for you after the order is placed. The owner of Sasha's Inspirations is also found on eBay and she offers amazing deals on her wraps there where you can catch a custom made wrap for under $30! It may seem like a lot of money for a long piece of stretchy material but the price is most definitely worth it.
Resale Value: It is excellent. If you choose to resell your wrap, it may be sold for up to the cost you paid for it.
Laundering: Laundering is easy. Simply throw your Sasha wrap into the wash with the rest of your laundry. Wash just as you would your other colored clothing. No special laundering needed. May be washed and dried normally.
My Favorite Features: I really enjoyed the cute little tags I got to choose from. Since I chose a solid colored cotton pocket, I got to choose from a huge list of tags to place on my pocket. I chose a little monkey tag that was just too cute to pass up and went perfectly with both mine and my child's spunky personality.
I love how breathable my wrap is. Unlike other wraps I have, I can wear my Sasha wrap even in the middle of summer without the worry of me or my child overheating. The wrap allows air to pass through easily.
Another feature I love is how easy I can use the wrap for not only front carries but also back carries. The wrap stretches so I can tightly wrap my child close to my body on my back without the worry of him slipping off.
Yet another fun feature is the pocket. I am able to store my keys, extra snacks, almost anything inside the pocket on the front of the Sasha Wrap. When I am done carrying my child, the pocket makes a great storage for my carrier. You can simply turn the pocket inside out and shove the carrier inside.
Least Favorite Features?: I really do not have any. I had a little glitch with my CD when I first received my package, yet the owner, Corinna, quickly resent another CD for me free of charge or shipping fees.
Where to buy? You can purchase a Sasha Wrap for yourself at her website: http://www.sashawrap.com/index.html or on eBay. Sasha Wraps may also be found in a few baby specialty stores around the New York area.
Rating: I would give Sasha Wraps a 5 star rating. Not only are they extremely comfortable but also very affordable and fashionable too!

Post a CommentCool! This looks like a wrap I could put a toddler in when I don't feel like pushing the stroller or I'm somewhere it doesn't fit. It's hard to find ones that tired toddlers will fit in because they're usually made to only fit small babies.
Maybe I'll try one of these!
