WRAP THE GIFT: Using your favorite Christmas wrapping paper you will start by placing the gift in the center of the paper. Make sure the paper is big enough to completely cover the gift. To do this bring one side of the paper up and tape it tightly to the gift. Then bring the opposite side of the paper up and make sure that it meets or overlaps the taped side of paper to completely cover the present. Now tape that side of paper to the other side of the paper. Now you will have two ends that need to be covering the rest of the present. Turn one of the open ends of paper towards you and fold in the bottom corner of the paper towards the present. This will cause the paper to make a triangle shape, do the same thing with the other bottom corner of the wrapping paper. Then tape the pieces in place. Do the same thing with the top two corners of paper, and crease the paper as you go. Once you have completed these steps you will have two triangles, one at the top and one at the bottom. Simply fold the triangles down toward the gift and tape them in place. Make sure that your present is completely covered.
ADD A BOW OR SOME RIBBON: Once your gift is wrapped you could simply add a colored bow on top to match the paper if you wish. Another option would be to use ribbon and wrap in longs ways and then across the present so that it goes around each of the four sides. Once you have wrapped the ribbon, then tie it on top. Now you can take scissors and lightly tug them across the ribbon, between the edge of the scissors and your thumb. This will cause the excess ribbon to curl. Once the ribbon is curled, lightly pull one strand of curled ribbon out to each edge or corner of the present and tape it to the edge or corner. This will cause the present to have a curly tied ribbon on it for a pretty look. Do not forget to add your name tags and your present it wrapped.
