- Another item about those who attack others who get history wrong. Today is April 4. One inspiring song should not get thrown under the bus because it says" Early morn April 4, a shot rings out in the Memphis Sky..." In 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed - - but early evening. MLK had just bent over the balcony and said to Ken Branch: "My man, be sure to sing '˜Blessed Lord' tonight and sing it well." And then "a shot rings out in the Memphis sky." The song "Pride" by U2.
- "Torpedo of Truth" has no content - - really. Even though he may not like his writers, Charlie Sheen needs them, as do most A-listers. Most even need them for ad-libs, too. Now, if they say it's non-scripted, better stick to that script because you will need something to fall back on. Wow! Perhaps those who booed and left in Detroit were part of the show. At least some of them, anyway. Chicago was no better. Wow. End it now.
- Hey, did I hear that it just may be a better idea to use all energy sources instead of just focusing on one, like oil, or because of Japan, nuclear? Use them all is what I note. See if that catches on.
- Those who dwell on spelling and grammar errors online sound a bit elitist to me. Get your ideas out there and fix later. Let's face it, over time we make up our own rules anyway, as do individual businesses when it comes to language. Many words that are not words today often become them years later. Look what we did to take ourselves away from the King and Queen. We dropped and changed many words.
- By the way, the person who will lead Pres. Obama's re-election does not really like the liberal base of the party. Stay tuned. All those who complain about the cost of campaigns, hello, this one? I have never, and I mean never, given a dime to any presidential candidate - - and never will.
- The worst job - - being a government waste watchdog. It never ends and you cannot be for one party or the other - - or the third, fourth, etc.
- Humanitarian. How about the Ivory Coast? Be consistent, now.
- Warming. Seems like many would welcome it. We are, for the most part, heading south.
- There, I just heard it - - weapons of mass destruction.

1. "Hop" - $38.1 million
2. "Source Code" - $15 million
3. "Insidious" - $13.4 million

Notes: The bunny trail (lines) were filled with those who wanted to see "Hop" this weekend. Hey, sometimes this stuff writes itself, while "Source Code" finished in second. Best title of the weekend, "Insidious" makes it in at number three. A new version of a movie now will be taking in some money, which we will not add to the other version. That movie took in $1.2 million and was (is) "The King's Speech PG13." I care more about the second weekend for many films and "Wimpy" drops 57 percent and "Sucker Punch" falls 68 percent. Its legs were taken out. Can they rebound next week when a new version of "Arthur" hits.
-We tend to throw out religious stories when they make the rounds but those climate folk really get covered simply because they are smarter than we are, right? Scientists are proving the Bible correct. Keep digging.
