Write About Me!

James R. Ford
write something brilliant
she said to me
don't be hard and callous
and no greeting card verse either

on command
the thoughts are empty
I need inspiration!

a word, a thought,
a sound coming from the stereo speakers
something/anything
she insists

make it about me
write me a love poem
something about my hair, my eyes
the way our love is common surprise

make it all about me
please me, tease me
got down on your knees me

the demand is strong
but the ink pen is dry.
and the muse
has left the building with Elvis

Aha! Creativity cannot be forced. Often, it strikes unexpected . . . in the still hours of the deepest night. ;-)

This is beautiful! Everything finds its own time and no one can do anything beyond and above that. Loved it James!

No one can force inspiration....only God allows that to happen...there are many people of whom I would love to write a poem about...but the words have yet to come...great work here James!
