9. Take a nap- Many writers get their best ideas while trying to fall asleep. Keep a pen and paper near your bed so you can write down all your brilliant ideas as you fall asleep. Upon waking, write down your dreams.

8. Ask friends for ideas- It is a guarantee that your friends or family will have writing ideas for you.

7. Take a break- Hit the shower, have a smoke, eat a snack. Do something that gets you up and thinking of anything but writing.

6. Watch the news- There is always something on the news that can be expanded upon or railed against.

4. Re-read your best work- Sometimes looking at your accomplishments can spur your brain into gear.

3. See what's trending- Check Google Trends, Yahoo! Buzz, Digg, Twitter, and other sites to find hot topics that interest you.

2. Draw a picture- Even if you're a horrid artist, using the creative part of your brain can get those creative juices flowing.
