Writer's Post: New-Fangled Website for Networking Writers

An Innovative Idea to Bring Together Talented Writer's

Matthew Shively
Networking internet sites have become the hot new wave of the present and future. As I was surfing through the internet looking for networking sites specifically focused on the joy of reading and writing I came across, Writer's Post. Writer's Post is a new and innovative site dedicated to networking writers' content around the web.

At first glance I thought maybe it would cost to join this site, because they take your writer content, post it on their website for others to see, including non-members, and also post your content on three other networking sites like Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook. As I did a little more research I learned that Writer's Post is not like other websites that do such things as advertising and marketing others content. In fact, Writer's Post was quite different. They do all of this advertising and marketing free for their members. For Associated Content writers this could be an additional opportunity to get more page views in one simple form submission.

As a member of Writer's Post you are authorized access to some pretty creative ideas and technology. Writer's Post does have your typical networking pages like a forum and a blog, but they also have a page for members to assist fellow writers on creating a perfect piece of written content with a page called writer assistance.

I have never seen a networking site that had such an amazing idea. The writer assistance page uses a wiki application where members can create a subpage and post part of an article, story, title, or anything they want. In addition, other Writer's Post members can go into that exact same article and assist with making corrections or even provide ideas to an author's content by physically changing their original post on the wiki page. The most interesting part about the writer assistance page is that any one of the members can create multiple sub-pages with multiple pieces of work they would like assistance on. The fact that Writer's Post allows their members to physically interact with other member's content is a brilliant networking idea for writer's to utilize as another tool. This one piece of technology on a website could truly be a writer's best friend if someone is stuck on a title or topic.

Another key piece of networking technology that Writer's Post has is a chat and instant messaging option for member interaction. Yes, this is not uncommon as Myspace and Facebook have similar options, but the fact that there is a website that is solely dedicated to writer's makes this even more amazing. What I like about this networking idea on a website such as Writer's Post is that you know all the members are also writer's just like you and if you have a question regarding a publication, writer's block, or something similar then you can just start chatting with them and ask, instead of waiting on a return email or waiting to see if someone answers your question in the forum.

All in all it takes about five seconds to sign-up to Writer's Post and become a member, submit your content via their easy to use content submission form, and have your content shared across the most popular networking sites for free. The creators of Writer's Post truly show that they have a rich passion for the art of writing. Overall, this is a great site to utilize if you receive money for pages views, as they provide your content to multiple other venues for hundreds of others to enjoy your best written content.

No problem all. I have actually seen an increase of about 100 PVs a day since I posted some of my content on Writer's Post.
