People from all around this world have and are suffering from many of life's trials. Many have left deep scars. Scars that seem to be imbedded into their spirit for safe keeping and security.
No one should feel pressured to spill out all their secrets of their life to a friend; even to a close friend or a cyber friend from around this world. Friends are people who are loved and cherished for when we need to talk or have someone to listen to. There are times when writers do tell another writer their hidden secrets about everyday concerns.
Daily stresses do take their toil on their lives. At times everyone needs a friend to talk to and ask advice or just to listen. Cyber friends do become as family for many writers. Writers learn much information about each other by reading their articles and poems. Writers who leave comments on their friend's writing are saying that they care.
Once a writer becomes as family a writer may add them to yahoo messenger. They may email them many times. It's good to have friends that share the same passion that they do. Writers tend to have a great deal of passion for whatever they are writing about. This also is true for whatever they talk about.
Feel free to bond closer with that special cyber friend that is on your friend or fan's list. He or she may just turn out to be that one of a kind friend you have always wanted in a friend.
Friends over the internet (cyber friends) will always care about you even if they never know those too painful to talk about secrets. Writers may tell their cyber friends that they are over weight and ask for advice. They may want to share other life long trials with them but just can't. The wound is too deep. Cyber friends will not stop caring even if you don't share everything with them. Just trust those great friends and tell them all your heart can bear to share with them.
I appreciate all my cyber friends and fans. Several have become as family to me. I would like to thank Chan Lee Peng, Judy Sheldon, Roberta Baxter, and Marie Stine for adding me to their yahoo chat and contact list on their email contacts. If I have forgotten anybody, please excuse me.
I have added Chan Lee Peng to my yahoo chat. This once unknown commenter turned into one of the best friends I have ever had. I trust his great wisdom and knowledge. There are things that have happened in my life there are too painful to share with him but I know his friendship is real and if I told him he would help me through the scars it has left me.
Writers are no different than everyday people. They too feel trapped about things that have happened to them. Just knowing a friend is near makes the world of difference.
Internet friends can share all the good times too. A writer may be flying for the first time and is scared. These internet (cyber) friends will be able to ease the fear of flying.
I always knew Chan Lee Peng was a great person. As the years passed I found out how great of a friend he is. He cares about all people and wants to make their lives healthier. He values friendships and all thing great in nature. I knew when he gave me advice I valued it. Thank you Chan.
Roberta Baxter is another Triond friend that I have grown to feel as family. I want to thank her too for all her loving support and friendship. I've shared many hopes and dreams and fears with this fine lady. We have shared our email with each other. Yes, I trust her!
Marie Stine is a writer from Associated Content. She is someone who feels my pain even if I never tell her about a pain I'm having. I know her and have spent time in friendship with her not only over the internet, but in real life too. Her husband and she spend time with my family on occasions. We still have our secrets we choose to hide and bear our own crosses alone. We know deep down that if we wanted to share some deep dark secrets they are there for us. That's true friendship!
Many writers from the other sites I write for I do value and love as family. I honestly believe that if I told them my darkest secrets of pain from my life they would all still love me.
I wish I could name you all but my pages would overflow with names, and my fingers would hurt from typing them all so I've decided not to name any others. If you think of me as a friend I promise you the feeling is mutual.
My friendships take this world by storm. They come from these sites:
Ehow, Triond, Bukisa, Associated Content, Wikinut, Infobarrel, Xomba, and Helium. Indeed life gave me great opportunities to make valuable friendships. I treasure them all.
Writers should indeed take their friendships slow and ease. True friendship is built on trust. Trust never rushes someone who they know could be a valued special friend one day.
God bless you all in finding many friends from around the world.

Post a CommentI love my cyber friends, but there are things that I would never share with them that I would with my face to face friends. For me it is not about trust, because I do have one cyber friends that KNOWS everything, but more respect. Some people just don't want to here about your 2 year old peeing on his dad (he actually did and I am still laughing over it).
I love my cyber friends. They are always there when I need them.
GReat article. Count me among your friends!
Love your article Jenny!!
You're right. I had no idea when I started writing for AC, how many people I would come to call, "Friend." Thank you, Friend.
I am happy for you, Jenny.
