Writing 101: Know Why You Are Writing Before You Start that New Article
Before You Start Writing Your Blog or that Next Article, Ask Yourself If You Are Trying to Inform, Sell, or Call Someone into Starting an Action. This Way, Your Writing Ideas Will Flow Much Easier
The writing process should always come naturally to you at all times, even when you don't have a clue as to what you should be writing next. To get that writer's flow stirring in your head, you need to always have a clear definition of the reason you are writing your next article or blog content.
Are you trying to sell a product or service from your web site? Are you trying to relay some new information out there in the internet world about a new kind of technology? Maybe you are trying to stir up the American voters to impeach the president or take another form of passionate action against something else.
Once you have decided on the exact purpose of your next article, the ideas for your dynamic web content will come flowing like a fountain afterwards. This writing technique is most effective when you are already sitting down at your home computer and staring at that blank page.
The computer that you will be writing on is a great tool for organizing your thoughts, easing your editing skills and speeding up your writing every time you begin to write. So use the PC to your advantage by coming up with that valid reason for writing in the first place and you will never have to worry about writer's block ever again.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM YOUR NEXT ARTICLE?
The next step in creating dynamic web content would be for you to write down exactly what you need your article or blog content to accomplish. You can be as specific or as general as you want, just write down what you truly feel. Write down as many reasons as you would like, in no specific order. This also is a great writing exercise that allows you to extract more ideas and slants on your future article writing.
You will also need to know what the reader needs to accomplish by reading your future dynamic web content as well. Your web reader wants to know "what's in it for me" at all times when he's reading your content so you need to know what you will be offering him by taking up his time by viewing your article or blog. If your article is about saving them time or money, relate that to the reader at the beginning of the article and continue with that emphasis throughout the rest of your article's body content.
ORGANIZE YOUR NEW IDEAS
Now that you have your two lists of what you want your article to accomplish and what your reader will gain from reading your content, you are now ready to organize these ideas to come up with compelling and dynamic web content. When you organize your ideas and thoughts, that organization will help you to find the focus of your current article or blog topic.
The most compelling reasons that a reader should view your article should always be featured first in your article's main body of text. A good way to do that is by writing down your main topics first and then making them your main bold subject headings throughout your article. Put the main subject title at the front of your article's main paragraph heading so the reader will know for sure whether he wants to read your entire article or not. You can then start organizing all of your other paragraphs by topic only, since you have already added the most compelling subject ideas at the beginning of your article page.
EDIT EDIT EDIT
After you have achieved what you wanted to accomplish when you first started writing down specific reasons you needed to write your article or blog, you now need to examine all of your dynamic web content for editing purposes. It's a good idea to always save your first draft before you start editing so you won't lose any vital information. Let somebody else read it so you can be sure that if you are overlooking some grammatical errors, they will have a good chance of seeing it first.
Read your copy out loud and examine whether the content flows off your tongue or just lays there like a lox. Also, use your computer's spell check at all times to make sure there are no spelling errors whatsoever before you publish your work. Start deleting whatever text does not flow well or does not provide relevant and exciting information to your web reader. Remember that shorter sentences are much better than long ones and simple terms should be used in place of fancy word phrases in every future article or blog you will be writing.
