Writing on Your Own Website for Money from Ads

Learn How to Make Money Online by Writing for Your Sites..

There are quite a few ways of making money online by writing. Most of these revolve around selling your content online - to MPAM and Associated Content for instant money, and really good one too. And you can also write and submit to triond.com, WiseOrb, and Helium knowledge to get paid per page view and on basis of your ratings. Though the earning potential is not as good as MPAM and Associated Content, these are three very good options for non-US citizens as they cannot participate in Associated Content to get paid.

Let's look into writing online on websites to make an income with Adsense/Adbrite/Any other contextual ad service. The idea behind making money from these services is simple, yet powerful. We'll take the example of Adbrite to evaluate this source of income:

Let's say John has a widget to sell, and his website is www.widget.com. To post his ads online, he uses a pay-per-click service, such as Adbrite. Now, Adbrite looks for other sites that are related in some way, shape or form to this widget website of John. Let's say you have a site - www.mywidget.com. Adbrite thinks it's close enough, and puts up an ad for John's site on yours. Let's say that John pays $1 per click to Adbrite. If that click occurred on your site, Adbrite will share the $1 with you, and give you $.60 for it. So if you have enough people with ads about widgets looking at your sites, and enoughpeople click on John's widget link, or someone else's link, you will make a pretty substantial income. The same applies for Adsense and some other companies that provide this service. All in all, this is can be a very good source of income. Some people make over $10,000 a month just with these sites.

So you can use your writing abilities to make a nice little website about anything that you think will get you a good amount of money, and strategically place the Adbrite ads on the different pages (do NOT inundate your page with ads). You can learn a whole lot about the placement of ads on a page and how to select them in The Light In The Darkness program. It explains in just one page just about all that you'll ever need to know about Adsense/Adbrite or any other contextual advertisement program. Some tips to follow when adding advertisements to your content are:

1.Try and make sure that the ads match the style and color of your page.

2.Place the ads in between content instead of displaying it as a banner.

3.Place ads on the top, on the side, and the bottom.

4.Place the ads close to the top-left and bottom-right for most exposure and clickthroughs.

5.Don't make pages just with the idea of getting people to click on the ads. Give actual information and don't click on your own ads!

It's very hard to make money with contextual ads if your site doesn't get any traffic at all, or if you're just starting a new site. It's getting harder and harder to make any money with contextual ads, and that's primarily because there are just far too many junk sites out there that don't give any information to users, but draw in a lot of traffic.

If you are really serious about making money online, there is no better program than The Light In The Darkness. I'm not an affiliate with the program, and don't get a commission. I still highly recommend it because it's super-cheap and covers just about everything you'll ever need and gives you the exact process of making over $40,000 a month. This is by far the best program online if you want to make money.

I'll have to look into it, though it does sound kind of confusing to me.

Sounds interesting. I just now stumbled across your article, but will check out your suggestions to see if the companies you mention are still in business. Thanks for an informative article.

I broke into the 6-figure income range this year doing primarily this, so it's definitely possible. :)
