I've been working with Google AdSense for a few months now, and I have to say that I'm thrilled with my earnings and the promptness of my payment. I currently write for Xomba and have Google AdSense on my personal blog, but I make the majority of my AdSense income from my Xomba writing.
I got off to a bit of a slow start, joining Xomba and Google AdSense the last week of September 2008 and making about 4 cents! In October my earnings were about $15, and as I learned more about writing for Xomba, those earnings grew to about $66 in both November and December 2008. I took some time off for the holidays, so my Xomba earnings for January will be about $50. I enjoy writing for sites like Triond and Associated Content, but I find I make a lot more dollars working with Xomba and Google AdSense.
I was totally thrilled to rip open the envelope from Google AdSense and see a check for $149.38! This represented all of the money earned with AdSense from my start in September, until the end of December 2008 (you must earn $100 with Google AdSense to qualify for a payment). While I didn't earn enough for a payment in January, I'm back on track and I'll probably qualify for another AdSense payment at the end of February 2009.
I'd highly recommend Xomba and Google AdSense to anyone looking to make more money as an online writer. I like the combination of writing shorter entries for Xomblurbs, along with posting longer pieces as Xombytes on Xomba. I also like how easy it is to get started as a Xomba writer who earns revenues with Google AdSense. Even if you don't have an AdSense account yet, Xomba makes it quite easy to get started with Google AdSense and begin the process of earning dollars for your writing.
Nothing can beat the excitement of that first AdSense check! I enjoy writing for Xomba and being part of the Xomba community, and I look forward to watching my earnings grow in 2009.

Post a CommentI just joined, mostly as an experiment to see if I could use it to increase the page views to my AC articles...Adsense money would be extra. I hope it works.
Well done man keep on earning good money with adsense.

I've had some good luck with both Xomba and Hubpages. They're two very different types of writing, I think, but both offer some really good opportunities for writers. Those Adsense checks are great, I agree :) Keep up the great work!
I've had an account with Adsense for a couple years now but I've never heard of Xomba or Hubpages. Which is better? Worth leaving A/C for? I sure would hate to give up this $1.50 a month I'm making here... haha
I'm going to check out hubpages too! I also hear good things about them. I think I might do Xomba and some Hubpages also. ;)
Congrats! I'm gonna check out Xomba thanks to you.
I had higher earnings from hubpages than xomba.... but its interesting..
