Writing is a gift, I believe. There are so many different styles and forms of writing. News, product reviews, poetry, novels, short stories, all of these vary so differently, depending on the writer. Some are beautifully simple, some are brilliantly wise and creative. There is a place for all, in the literary world, I think. Words. They are our written dreams. Here is a poem for writers. Enjoy. Written Dreams

A Poem For Writers

Dancing from
a creative mind,
a perfect
and brilliant line.

Lines cast out,
into endless time.
One by one,
their prey, they find.

Drawing you in,
the feast, so fine,
devouring hungrily, the witty
words so divine.

So soul sparking, burning,
inspiring
and
always climbing.

Written dreams,
wishing, reaching, finding,
pages,
and fortunes hiding.

What we think
comes alive,
blooming like flowers,
from a tangled vine.

A writer's dreams,
he or she thinks, writes and it is so.
Pages full of prose,
pure gold.

Ink and blood,
mixed with our fears and tears.
Our joy, too, lives,
in the pages, we write, through the years.

One day,
the writer here will be gone
but, the words
will live on.
