Written in Stone

Jean Davis
The old year has passed,( it seems so quickly, now).

It's history. Written in stone.

Not one thing can be changed that has happened.

All we can do is move on.

Hopefully we have learned from any mistakes we made.

Hopefully we recorded some good memories to recall.

We anticipate a great new year ahead and if we approach it with an open mind, open heart and faith we won't be disappointed at all.

It's good to set goals and make plans for the new year but please don't write them in stone.

Trust in God and His plan for you.

You're not in this alone.

There are times when you made plans with great determination

But something got in the way.

When it came to the final outcome you realized God had the last say.

He knew well in advance what was best for you but He gave you a mind with which to think.

So make your plans, set your goals, trust in God and write with pencil instead of ink.
