Wrong Turn at Tahoe

I'll never forget that day. His life flashed before my eyes. A glint of silver turned my way, and a gunshot shattered the silence. But the bullet did not strike me but the one bent on taking my life, and a hand reached into the darkness. And I reached back, taking hold of a life that has led me to here with a gun now in my hands.
