Vincent Gioia
During the 1990's, it was one of the most entertaining, and fun decades ever for a wrestling fan. WCW, WWE, and ECW were each competing to be the best. Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair at Madison Square Garden 11/30/91- A good match, but they could of done so much more with this feud. I give it a 7/10

Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 11/25/92- A solid and under looked match in this epic feud. I give it a perfect rating

Hulk Hogan vs Yokozuna at King of the Ring 6/13/93- An average match with a crappy ending. I give it a 5/10

Bret Hart vs Owen Hart at Wrestlemania X 3/20/94- An awesome and astounding match. I give it a perfect rating

Diesel vs Razor Ramon at Superstars 4/13/94- A good match, but it was to short. I give it a 7/10

Bret Hart vs Diesel at Royal Rumble 1/22/95- A super match that gets a perfect rating

Alundra Blayze vs Bull Nakino on RAW 4/3/95- A short but good match. I give it a 7/10

Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs Lex Luger on Nitro 8/4/97- A high powered match that gets a 8/10

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Undertaker at Summerslam 8/30/98- A great battle that gets a perfect rating

Sting vs Bret Hart at Halloween Havoc 10/25/98- This had the potential of a great match, but it turned out to be a great disappointment. I give it a 4/10

Triple H vs The Rock at Fully Loaded 7/25/99- This was there strap match and its an under looked classic. I give it a 9/10

There are some major cons and flaws on here. They don't have a bio on Vader, who was a great heel and an underrated big man. They have no matches or bio's of ECW on here, accept Paul Heyman, but that was very brief. Finally, the last flaw on here is the censorship. The 1990's was a very competitive and violent decade, between the 3 promotions. This led to each of them doing stuff that was extreme and hardcore. This should not have been censured. I guess this is why ECW was not on here. This is a very big error for the WWE to have made.

Overall I was impressed with this release. They had some good bio's on here like Sting, which was surprising. The special features and matches were great. That's what impressed me the most was the match selection. Rather put on the same great matches, they dug up matches that have been under looked or hasn't been released on other dvds. This is a very good buy for any wrestling fan, but beware of the censorship.

i agree its almost like they acted the attitude era never existed

Its surprising how they did not include any of the hell in a cell or inferno matches. Taker vs HBK/ Taker vs Mankind were epic, as far as defining the attitude era and the late 90s go. They should have put one of those two, and it would have been better to have both. Taker vs Mankind HIAC was ranked match of the year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Taker vs HBK (HIAC) was the last WWE match to get a 5-star rating from Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Way better matches than Bret Hart vs Sting and some of the other disappointments which were put on this DVD.
