On October 4th, 2009, WWE will present its Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View from Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center. The WWE Hell in a Cell results will be made official starting at 8PM EST, up until 11PM EST, as the various matches are completed. Expected to be in action are John Cena, Randy Orton, John Morrison, Shawn Michaels and Triple H among other superstars.

"Hell in a Cell" refers to a type of match that WWE has used throughout its illustrious history. The match involves a fully enclosed steel cage which is lowered down around the ring. The wrestlers battle inside, outside and even on top of the structure. A wrestler is victorious just like in a normal match, by pinfall or submission. There's no countouts or disqualifications in these matches, making it one of the more grueling matches for WWE superstars to compete in.

The WWE Hell in a Cell results seem to favor the current champions who are competing in the matches. John Cena will defend his WWE Title against Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match. Cena just won the title at the last Pay-Per-View after surviving an "I Quit" match against Randy Orton. In that match, Cena was tortured to extreme levels by his opponent, but ultimately outlasted the punishment to come out victorious. Now these two foes will battle once again but inside the confines of the Hell in a Cell steel structure. Only one man will be able to walk out of the Pay-Per-View as WWE Champion.

As of this writing, two other matches have been arranged for the Pay-Per-View. The current Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison, will defend his title in a regular match against Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is coming off two previous losses in his attempts to capture the Intercontinental Title from Rey Mysterio. Just weeks ago, John Morrison made a surprise challenge to Mysterio and beat him in one of the top WWE matches of the year. Ziggler and Morrison have been taunting each other for weeks, as they lead up to their matchup at the PPV.

A third match will involve the Hell in a Cell format, as tag teams D-Generation X and Legacy will face off to try to put an end to their feud. The two teams have each won against the other at the previous two Pay-Per-Views. At the previous PPV, Breaking Point, Legacy's Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase went all out in their "Submissions Count Anywhere" match. The heel duo beat down Triple H backstage eventually leaving him knocked out. From there, they headed to the ring with Shawn Michaels to beat him up until they could wrap him around the ringpost and force him to tap out. Legacy was quite proud of their achievement, and on a recent episode of Raw claimed they are looking to end DX once and for all.

As soon as WWE's Hell in a Cell results are official, you'll be able to find them at WWE Characters the Blog. The results will be posted online starting at 8PM EST and be continually updated until 11PM EST. You can catch the Pay-Per-View live on cable or satellite starting around 8PM EST on Sunday, October 4th, 2009!

Concerning the 'ROCK', as a wrestling fan, I found the 'Rock' to be very boring and overbearing and overrated. I was most pleased when he departed from Wrestling. He is in no way an actor and his shows stink!
