WWE Releases Kaval

Spy Radio
Kaval was released from the WWE today. I was never a big fan of Kaval, but the WWE Universe was. Their votes helped Kaval win NXT Season 2. Kaval only won three matches on NXT Season 2, but he had enough votes from the fans to defeat Michael McGillicutty and Alex Riley in the finals. Even though Riley and McGillicutty lost they were promoted to the Raw roster along with fourth place finisher Husky Harris. Unlike Kaval who was placed on the Smackdown roster.

Even though I was not a big fan of Kaval, I was a bit surprised by his release. I was a bit surprised because Smackdown does not have a lot of face mid-card superstars. The only one that comes to mind is Kofi Kingston. On the other hand they do have a lot of heel mid-card superstars that include Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Jack Swagger.

Daniel Bryan was also released by the WWE. Bryan was a rookie on NXT Season 1. After being released he was rehired, upon returning he defeated his Pro The Miz to win the United States Championship. Just like Bryan, Kaval was not a big hit the first time around. I think the WWE Universe will have something to say about his release. I do not know if that will be enough to get Kaval rehired, but there may be a slight chance that we see him again.

Actually he asked for his release after they used him as a jobber only. It was directly after his match VS McIntyre in which he were supposed to lose immediately after he entered the ring. A match he and the audience obviously hated. I find it really a big shame to let such talented people go only because the WWE scripters/writers have no clue what to do out of them. PLEASE get some decent scripters/writers that can come up with good storylines for your superstars and divas WWE. I wonder if the same will happen with Kaitlyn at the end since she is stuck in the background sequences she gets to be once in a while only. -.- I really hope not but I wouldn't be too surprised either.

Wow, I am really surprised by this move. Kaval was a great wrestler that was not given an opportunity to shine. Hopefully he can go back to TNA and really show off his talents.

I was surprised to hear Kaval was released. If MVP had not quit, the two would have been a really great tag team. Though his release seemed premature, he did get his pay per view title match and everything he was promised for winning NXT. on the other hand, the reason he ended up on SmackDown was because his pros were LayCool. Riley came to Raw as The Miz's apprentice while Harris and Magillicutty became members of Nexus. While Daniel Bryan was released after he did not remain with the Nexus, it was the efforts of superstars like John Cena who was able to bring him back for SummerSlam. Kaval can always be rehired but they would need to stop putting him in matches against Drew McIntyre. I mean come on!
