WWE Says Goodbye to Five Superstars

Spy Radio
As of June 13, 2011 WWE has released the following Superstars.

Michael Tarver (Competed on Season One of NXT and became a member of The Nexus on Raw)

Jacob Novak (Competed on Season Four of NXT and NXT Redemption)

Buddy Stretcher (Florida Championship Wrestling Superstar)

Buck Dixon (Florida Championship Wrestling Superstar)

Ethan Levine (Florida Championship Wrestling Superstar)

The most surprising release to me was Michael Tarver. Despite being the first rookie eliminated from NXT Season One. I felt he stood out from the other rookies by choosing not to participate in the challenges. Even though Tarver was the first to be eliminated he made his debut on Raw with The Nexus. Tarver did not last long with The Nexus as he suffered a groin injury forcing him to be written off television. After recovering from his injury Tarver started appearing in backstage segments on Raw and SmackDown until his release.

I was not surprised to find out three Florida Championship Wrestling Superstars had been released. Back in February, the 'WWE Signed Seven New Superstars to FCW'. It makes sense that the WWE would choose to release five Superstars in favor of those that were recently signed.
