Over the past six years John Cena has granted wishes to the children of Make-A-Wish Foundation by entertaining them at events such as Monday Night Raw and Wrestlemania. But the superstar wrestler has also entertained wish kids outside of the wrestling arena by meeting kids at amusement parks, inside video-game stores, casually bumping into them at convenience stores and gone so far as to pose as a waiter in a restaurant to meet a Make-A-Wish kid.
Cena said of his efforts with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, "It's an honor to be recognized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but this isn't about me. It's about giving kids a chance to smile again and receive attention for something other than their medical condition. They just want to be treated like normal kids, and anytime I can help them enjoy their moment and feel hope, I'll be there."
John Cena is not the first and won't be the last wrestler to lend a helping hand to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Other wrestlers who have supported the organization include WWE stars Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Rey Mysterio, and the feared Undertaker. Celebrities from outside the wrestling world are also known for their support of Make-A-Wish including race car drivers Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jeff Gordon, basketball player Michael Jordan, singer Mariah Carey, and so many more.
Cena is currently serving on the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Wish Ambassador Council while leading a campaign to grant another 200 wishes with the foundation. For those who wish to make a donation to help John Cena grant another 200 wishes go to wwe.com/johncenawish where you can donate with money or with Delta SkyMiles. For every extra mile donated through Delta SkyMile's John Cena and Delta will match donations up to a million miles.

Make-A-Wish has granted over 3,500 wishes since its inception and will continue keep granting wishes as long as they have the help of supporters like John Cena and you.
