WWE Superstar Suffers Injury

Spy Radio

During WWE's Tour of Europe, Christian suffered a severe high ankle sprain. This came one week after Christian had been complaining about a neck injury. The neck injury was not enough to keep Christian out of action but after suffering a severe high ankle sprain he will be unable to compete at Survivor Series.

Christian was scheduled to compete in the 5-ON-5 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Match as part of Team Barrett. Due to the severe high ankle sprain, Christian was pulled from the Match and replaced with the United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph Ziggler was a great replacement for Christian. Now the Tag Team Match consists mostly of younger talent within the WWE. Christian was the veteran in this Match coming in with more than 20 years of experience. Now Orton becomes the veteran of the Match coming in with just under 10 years of experience. This gives the WWE a great chance to show the WWE Universe the potential the company has in the near future.
