WWE Superstars Cancelled

Spy Radio
WGN America has canceled WWE Superstars. WGN thought WWE Superstars would help their station get national coverage. Unfortunately for WGN, WWE Superstars did not bring in the ratings they were hoping for.

What does the future hold for WWE Superstars now that it has been canceled? The most logical scenario would be to stop airing the show all together. Another possible scenario would be to continue airing the show online. Airing the show online does not make a lot of sense. WWE already airs NXT online. Since airing NXT online it appears that a majority of the WWE Universe has tuned out. The same thing would happen to WWE Superstars. The show was unable to bring in ratings when it aired on television. If WWE decides to move the show to WWE.com they should not expect to see an increase in ratings. Therefore, it would be best to stop airing the show all together. Even though WWE Superstars was great for seeing superstars who did not appear on Raw or Smackdown.
