When the contestants arrived at Rock City Ropes they were introduced to WWE Superstar John Morrison. Morrison talked to the contestants about the ropes course they were about to face and why it was important to be focused during the course. Some contestants completed the course with ease but others like Ivelisse and Eric struggled to finish. Ivelisse was slowed down by a leg injury but was able to finish with the help of Morrison. Eric was unable to complete the course but never gave up. After attempting the course for one hour and thirty-four minutes, Austin had Eric removed from the course for safety reasons. Eric was upset with himself for being removed from the course but still had the opportunity to impress the trainers during the skills challenge.
This weeks skills challenge was called "Cop A Squat". During the challenge the contestants climbed to the top rope, performed fifteen squats, and held the final squat. The contestants were split into two groups of four. The last two standing from each group would move on. The first group consisted of Martin, Andy, Ivelisse, and Jeremiah. Martin and Andy were the first to fall. This allowed Ivelisse and Jeremiah to advance to the next round. The second group consisted of Luke, Eric, Aj, and Christina. Eric and Aj were the first to fall. This allowed Luke and Christina to advance to the next round where they would compete against Ivelisse and Jeremiah. As the final four contestants entered the ring, the trainers informed them that Andy and Eric would be running the ropes. Ivelisse and Christina were the first to fall. This allowed Luke and Jeremiah to advance to the final round. During the final round the contestants were asked to slam the punching bag, perform an elbow drop, slam the punching bag again, and perform an elbow drop from the top rope. Jeremiah failed to impress the trainers in the final round, allowing Luke to win his first skills challenge. After congratulating Luke, Austin announced that the trainers were heading into deliberations.
After deliberating, Austin announced that Eric Watts, Ivelisse Velez, and Aj Kirsch were in the bottom three. Watts was placed in the bottom three for performing poorly during the ropes course and being out of shape. Velez was placed in the bottom three because of her injury. The trainers felt Velez was using her injury as an excuse. Kirsch was placed in the bottom three for failing to impress the trainers. The trainers felt Kirsch had been flying under the radar for to long.
As the bottom three Watts, Velez, and Kirsch came face to face with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. After asking the contestants various questions Austin had no choice but to eliminate Ivelisse Velez. Austin hated to see her go but because of her injury he had no choice. Just as Watts and Kirsch could breathe a sigh of relief, Austin announced that he would be eliminating another contestant. The second contestant eliminated by Austin was Eric Watts. Watts was eliminated for not performing well enough on a consistent basis. Kirsch lived to wrestle another week but not before taking an earful from Austin. Austin let Kirsch know that being in the bottom three better have lit a fire inside him. Will Kirsch take Austin's words to heart or will he find himself in the bottom three once again? Tune in to WWE Tough Enough next week at 8 PM EST to find out.

Post a CommentIt is tough to be your works, for sure. Great recaps.
I saw this. That was sweet of Morrison to help her. :) I feel bad that she got injured before she could even finish the competition. But sadly it comes with the business! I wish both eliminations the best of luck!
