For those who watched Randy "Macho Man" Savage during the height of his wrestling career are saddened to hear of his death in an auto accident on May 20, 2011.The news of his death quickly hit Twitter through the hashtag #ripmachoman.

They were traveling in their Jeep down a Florida highway when Savage suffered a heart attack. Their vehicle veered across traffic before hitting a tree bring the Jeep to a stop. The "Macho Man" later died at the hospital from injuries in the accident TMZ.com reports. Lynn was rushed to a different hospital and treated for her injuries.

Macho Man was one of the few wrestling icons I liked to watch during my last days of watching this popular sport on television. I had also watched it during the days of Dusty Rhodes, Von Erichs, and The Assassins.

Savage held several titles from his wrestling days. He also proposed to his girl pal side kick "Miss Elizabeth" on national television years ago. After years of marriage the two divorced and Randy remarried last year to his latest wife, Lynn.

Many will remember Savage more for his far out antics, crazy looks, wild costumes, and his catch phrase "Ohhhhh Yeaaaaah." His was also known for "Snap into a Slim Jim." This came about after doing several commercials for "Slim Jim."

Even at the age of 58, Savage could still be seen dawning an earring on the day he married Lyn in 2010 in a photo in remembrance of this wresting legend. If you scroll through the rest of the photos of Randy Savage, you will see photos of his wresting career.
