Xenadrine EFX Review

Paul Mann
Xenadrine has released its EFX line of diet pills. Unlike previous versions, which included ephedra on the ingredient list, a government ban on said ingredient has made it impossible to use ephedra anymore.

EFX is a gentler version of most of their diet pills, combining amino acids, PEA, and green tea (along with other ingredients) to help you lose weight. But, is it really all that effective? Let's see what these ingredients do.

The amino acid Xenadrine EFX uses is tyrosine-1, an amino acid usually linked to neurotransmitters concerning our mood. A deficiency in this can cause, or add on to, depression. So in this case Xenadrine helps uplift our mood.

PEA, or Phenylethylamine, has been documented as helping focus attention as well as relieving depression as well. According to bodybuildingforyou.com, it says that 60% of patients administered PEA recover from depression or depression symptoms.

Green tea has always been good. Though there are some muscle magazines saying that it has a possible effect of lowering testosterone, I have only seen these claims in a few magazines such as Ironman and MuscleMax. Beyond this possibility, green tea has been used for years to help with weight loss, relieve stress, a great antioxidant (eradication free radicals), and so many other positive attributes that an entire article (book even) could be wrote about this one ingredient.

So the ingredients look good, but is it effective?

As most of the other Xenadrine line, there are those who lose weight quickly, and those who have lost nothing at all. It all depends on body type, along with diet and exercise (which you should do whether or not you are on this pill, remember it's a supplement, not a miracle).

So sometimes it is effective, sometimes it is not. Most people react positively though. However, there are still side effects to look out for.

Another article on bodybuildingforyou.com talks about the side effects. Energy boosts, increased heart rate, anxiousness, cramps, and increased sweating are on the menu for this pill.

In my case, whenever I try a diet pill (including this one), I have become very dizzy, lightheaded, and almost faint. Not to mention the lack of any progress. So the pill is not for me, but it may work for you.

My suggestion, just increase the work out time, put in some more cardio, and restrict sweets completely until you are at your target weight.
