Yahoo and Associated Content's New Ownership
What is Hoped for and Expected from the Yahoo Ownership and Management
I said "can be" because there are some things that are hoped for and expected from Yahoo. I am a contributor for four (4) years this year and I do prefer AssociatedContent.com than the other similar content internet companies. Therefore, I hope to remain, if possible, with AssociatedContent.com under the new Yahoo.com ownership and management.
Firstly, the excellent payment service that AssociatedContent.com has given contributors over the years through PayPal payment service is expected to continue. We hope they will not change this and if they do it will be even better than the excellence experienced from AssociatedContent.com and PayPal as well. How this can be done I am not sure, but the Yahoo.com team are very experienced so they can easily think of how. But we hope the process will be mutually acceptable and interactive. In this respect, some of us may be hoping that other payment processors (such as AlertPay.com and SafePaySolutions.com) will be included in the process to help diversify the process. Likewise, international readers who desire to write for AssociatedContent.com may be hoping for a way to do so with the new Yahoo team. Here the international payment process will have to be resolved in the best feasible way.
The high quality of articles that are approved and paid for by AssociatedContent.com owners and staff is expected to continue under the Yahoo.com ownership. Associated Content (AC) has built a reputation around high quality and has earned the respect of many contributors and readers alike. When readers search and read articles, I believe they prefer to always find useful or relevant information that will solve or help to solve their problems, queries or interests. AC has helped to achieve this over the years.
It is also hoped that the "Performance Payment" established by AC will remain and be improved under Yahoo.com management. Many contributors and readers for AC like to promote their articles (and that of other contributors in some cases). In doing so, the performance payment from AC is excellent news and needs to be continued by Yahoo.com - the new owners. The process is fair and realistic so there is absolutely no need to cancel this at all. It is also a means by which others who are not expert writers can spend significant time doing some research (or attending and event). After that, they can write about what they have discovered with the future benefit of being rewarded through the performance payment system from AssociatedContent.com management Team.
Some of us may be hoping for an extended affiliation with Yahoo.com through AssociatedContent.com association. Here I am referring to formal Affiliation (similar to CJ.com service for Yahoo.com affiliates). Yahoo is a very large internet company with many different possibilities. This is very technical and cannot just be stated here in this article. But it may just be a serious hope for many who are current writers for AssociatedContent.com under the Yahoo.com ownership.
Cash prizes (monthly, quarterly and yearly) are also expected to improve. We know AssociatedContent.com likes to reward their writers for excellence in their contribution. Therefore, we are hoping Yahoo will diversify this process and increase the quantity and quality of the rewards. For example, if there are only a top three reward benefit, that will improve to a top 5 or 10, and so on, in each category. This way, more people will earn and benefit. The effort and reward process will be more widely appreciated and accepted.
The above are just some of the hopes and expectations from the new Yahoo.com owners and management, from my personal perspective. Those of us who have been with AssociatedContent.com over the years know their management excellence and expect no less from Yahoo.com management. I personally believe the ownership of AssociatedContent.com by Yahoo.com is just great news and we expect the best for everyone.

I hope Yahoo brings in editors to improve the overall quality and grammar of the articles. Combining the two companies makes a lot of sense.
