The land was nowhere to be seen.
A ball of ocean, deep and dark
Shone blue to Father Heaven as He passed above.
Willing the seas to part
He made Earth his park.
And He called Himself Ouranos
And He called Earth Ye.
As symbol of His undying love
He left the skies a rainbow somehow to form.
And many have joined in making merry
About the rainbow and its story.
He then made Man
To be caretaker, gardener of his park, and He left.
Should He return at what given time?
He is sole Master of his whims and ways.
Should He return and find his park
All tattered and unkempt, what might He say? what might He do?
I have chosen the better part of valor
And keep my garden tended to.And, so, should you.
