The stores, which began as one store with one employee, are now two locations in Estes Park (The Christmas Ship is located in the Park Theatre Mall and The Spruce House is located on Spruce Drive) with a dozen staff members. The stores offer gifts and collectibles for Christmas such as artificial trees, ornaments, and themed toys. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful as soon as you walk in the door, making the experience as warm as the joy of the season.

Enchanted Snowflakes is a privately owned Estes Park based company that specializes in artistic ornaments. The ornaments are hand poured and fired as well as hand decorated. They also do custom furniture that is similarly custom finished and painted. The artists work from their home and via their website, www.enchantedsnowflakes.freeserver.com, and through the arts festivals of the area. Their work can also be seen at some of Estes Park's local shops, including the retail locations of many of the Christmas themed stores in the area. Customers may also buy direct from the artist their specialty: custom ornaments and furniture.

Simply Christmas is yet another year round shop located in Estes Park's Old Church Shops building. The store offers a variety of Christmas gifts and decorations from Santas of Pipka to December Diamonds. Many of their products are produced locally. Visitors are greeted warmly as they enter the store and will find the employees helpful and knowledgeable about the store's offerings.
