August calendar of events in Port Angeles goes something like this:
August 7, 14, 21 & 28 - begins the Olympic cellars Winery Summer Concert Series. The Olympic Cellars is at 255410 Hwy 1010, Portland Angeles. Each weekend beginning at 7:30 pm music by some great artists brings people together for fun during the month. Pack that picnic lunch, grab those lawn chairs and come on out.

14th Star Anna
21st Haywire
28th Hand Full of Luvin
Cost is just $5.00 per person and this year The Olympic Cellars will be giving a part of the entrance fee to local charity.
August 7-28 is the Annual Joyce Daze Blackberry Festival. Start out with a pancake breakfast $4.00 adults, $2.00 children. At the Crescent Grange, visit the fish pond, enjoy the beard, mustache and goatee contest, enjoy live entertainment by local bands, vendors, a parade, family games the local Salmon Bake at the crescent Bay Lions Club, Antique truck and car displays and much more.
August 14 and 15th is Heritage Weekend in Port Angeles - Local Tribes, resident historical communities educate residents and guests of the history in the Port Angeles area. Fun to see resident actors help with presentations and make this area of Washington's history comes alive. Join a walking tour of the Historic downtown Port Angeles or a trolley tor of other historic and Civil war homes in and out of uptown Port Angeles.
August 27-29 is the 6th annual Port Angeles Senior games. Created for anyone 50 and over whom love competing and having a wonderful time while joining in on the senior games is the place to go. Exercise and excitement for seniors in the area while visitors can cheer them on.
August 19-22 is the Clallam County Fair, which includes a rodeo, food, entertainment and fun for the family. The Clallam County Fair is a down to earth typical rural fair and a must see event when in the area.
August 29 - North Olympic Land Trust Steam Fest the environment is the point of this event. Sample local foods, take a hayride and learn how to preserve the land on the Olympic Peninsula. A must visit event for environmentally conscientious residents and visitors in Port Angeles.
With this great event calendar Port Angeles Washington is the place to be during the month of August.
