looks for love
It goes from place to place
Is it in money
Is it in fame
Is it in materials we attain
Is it in reognition
or a bottle of wine
Is it in controling others
No, the heart
knows what it needs
We look for love
in places that
won't satisfy
But we keep hoping
Then one day
we listen to the heart
and it helps us remember Jesus
We remember how
He loves us
and He is where the heart is at home
Our heart is
now with the
one who knows our heart
Now we not
only feel loved
by Jesus
But we realize
who we really are
A cherished child of God
Now we can find peace
Now we begin
the journey of the heart
