Yes to Carrots Delciously Rich Body Butter: A Complete Product Review

You may have heard of the brand Yes To Carrots in popular magazines such as In Style, Good House Keeping and Family Circle. Yes To Carrots has certainly been a brand that has grabbed media attention for being a budget friendly, paraben free, natural product containing vitamins and minerals from plant extracts, such as carrots and also minerals from the Dead Sea. You may have seen Yes To Carrots featured on popular television shows such as The Today Show as well as being recommended on Dr. Oz as one of the best Summer beauty bargains under $10.00. The Brand Yes To Carrots also extends to Yes To Cucumbers, Yes To Tomatoes and so on. They carry just about every beauty product under the sun for all ages including babies. Today I will focus on my personal review of Yes To Carrots Deliciously Rich Body Butter which has been awarded the Beauty Bible 2009 Green Award as well as a few other notable beauty awards.

My Review:

I bought my Yes To Carrots Deliciously Rich Body Butter at a local discount store. You can find this product in many stores such as Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Ulta Beauty, Whole Foods, and even GNC among other places as well. Alternately you can also find Yes To Carrots Body Butter and other products online at Amazon.com, Drugstore.com and of course Yestocarrots.com. Prices vary greatly depending on store and promotions, but expect to pay between $7.00 - $14.00 for a standard size tub of the body butter. On occasion you can get the "40% more for free" tub which is what I got and it is a 11.83 Fl. Oz Jar, not bad!

To some the price tag seems slightly high, but I believe you will find it worth the price. There are many other paraben free products on the market and those that contain dead sea minerals (as this product does) are typical double if not triple the price in beauty stores. Think of those stands in the mall with all the dead sea mineral lotions and scrubs, they're packages usually start at $50.00 just for a lotion, cuticle oil and nail buffer!

Scent to me is equally if not more important than the effectiveness of a product, if it's going to be so strong that I get a headache, I'm not wearing it! If it makes me smell offensive to others' again, it's not going to get much use. The Yes To Carrots Deliciously Rich Body Butter is a subtle pleasant smell. It reminds me of a powder scent, almost like a baby lotion, very mild yet fragrant enough to enjoy. It's not to feminine, pretty much can be used by a man or woman with no gender preference. It's a great light scent and wears off to most just a fresh powder smell.

So is it effective? This body butter claims that it's for use on very dry skin and is a body treatment with an immediate and long lasting moisturizing effect. The Yes To Carrots Deliciously Rich Body Butter is blended with Organic carrot juice, pumpkin, sweet potatoes and dead sea minerals creating a perfect recipe for parched skin! The directions are what you would expect, not rocket science here for good results, just lightly lather skin with the body butter and let it absorb and nourish your skin!

I have two things I have to rave about it's effectiveness, first being it really works! My boys (ages 3-7) have the worst dry skin in the winter and baby lotions rarely do anything at all for them. I have had such a terrible time wasting money on products gentle enough for their skin that actually did what it claimed! This is number 1 in my book, hands down - YES TO CARROTS! A while back the doctor told me to buy Eucerine cream for my boys, which is so expensive for what the product really is. And it's not paraben free, contains many ingredients I can't pronounce among a few other rants. The Eucerine cream would leave an oily petroleum like layer on their legs, staying greasy for hours! NOT the case with Yes To Carrots body butter! This is my second rave about this product! i have had and tried many body butters and they are usually so thick that it takes a while to fully absorb. This body butter literally melts right into your skin within a minute or two! And my boys no longer have itchy dry winter skin.

Even though this Yes To Carrots product isn't marketed for babies and children, the ingredients are vert natural and mild. I would give it a try if your child suffers with dry skin, just watch for any reaction within the first three days. As for the adults, I highly recommend you Say Ye To Carrots Deliciously Rich Body Butter, along with my review, many others on amazon.com have given it five stars, and it's all the buzz in the beauty industry!
