Most people probably assumes that once you have liposuction or a skin tightening type of surgery that you never have to worry about weight or looking fat again. However, this really isn't the case. If you go back to your bad eating habits and your bad lifestyle habits, the weight can return and so can the fat. However, it just may return in different places, even in places that are more dangerous such as your heart.

When a person has a liposuction fat cells are destroyed in that area. This means if you have a liposuction done on your thigh, the fat cells in your thigh is killed. However, if you begin to gain weight these fat cells can still live in your arms, stomach, heart, etc.

If you decide to go ahead with the lipo, understand what can occur if you gain weight afterwards. Understand that your body may appear lumpy and that you may gain weight in other areas of your body. Be prepared.
