Your name echoes through the deep expanses of earth,
The name I once wore on my sleeve,
Has vanished like the bottom of a clouded river.
I have wanted to flock to you on many occasions,
But have not found a single truth,
But something about your soul moves me deeply,
And I cry for my long lost love.
I have sweated a thousand rainbows,
Hoping your candles burn in the window still,
But the air is cold and the night is sinister,
And I have found you not.
Why does this pain cut me so deep?
Like a broad tip point lodged in my thoughts,
I have tweezed and tried to remove the illness that is you,
But it is impossible to forget you, and I am bleeding still.
My will to keep searching is dwindling with time,
And I am afraid that my mind will shut you out,
Your face is a vision cloaked by white sheets,
And I miss you.
