Yes I Promise Times Two

A Poem for My Tony

Kady Birdwhistle

Yes, I promise to wear socks in the cold weather
I know I don't wear socks like I should
You get so upset that I traverse without them ( LOLOLOLOL... I promise, Tones, I will socks)

Yes, I will watch more football even though I don't have a clue
But I do know what a shoulder block is sort of
But I will NEVER be a MIZZOU fan

Yes, I promise to take you shopping at JC Penny's for shirts
Though you swear you hate new stuff
I will still take you anyway and any how

Yes, I promise to watch more Night Rider with you
I do love Kit, the car, WOW, a talking car ROCKS
But you must watch more Rockford Files with me

Yes, I swear to always rock out to Happy Birthday Mr. President by Marilyn Monroe
You downloaded that song for my birthday
Also you dowanloaded Happy Birthday by the Beatles ( IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Yes, I promise not to get amy more tattoos because.....just because
You can't see them anyway, but I promise no more
It's only my name in Kanji and a heart on my back

I promise to always smile at you my awesome Tones, Tony
Even when I behave like an angry harpie
I will always and always and always be there

Sounds like me in a lot of ways. I'm not a sock person either, and I have tattoos, and I'm not into football. Very good. It's nice you're working things out. I wish I could get a certain person to try a little harder. That article is coming soon!
