LOS ANGELES - "Yes I Can! Yes You Can! Tackle DIABETES and Win!" has been chosen to receive the Best Books 2006 Award in the Health: General category as the best general health book of the year. Yes I Can! Yes You Can! is based on the life and career of Jay Leeuwenburg, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 12 but learned to manage the disease successfully enough to become a college All-American football player and nine-year star in the National Football League.

The Best Books 2006 Awards are presented by USABookNews.com, the leading online magazine and review website for mainstream and independent publishers.
