YoBaby Organic Yogurt

My youngest daughter refused to eat baby foods. I tried just about all of them. She was exclusively nursed and started getting teeth quite late so she couldn't eat regular foods quite yet. I don't start my children on solid foods until they are around 8 months old.

She would take the baby food in her mouth and then spit it all out. I tried and tried and she would clamp her little mouth shut. I tried all of the Gerber Organics; both fruits and vegetables.

One day I was eating a Stonyfield Farm Organic yogurt and she wanted a bite. I suppose she decided that if I was eating it, it must be good. She loved it.

From that day on she ate YoBaby Organic yogurt by Stonyfield Farm. When she first started eating yogurt the variety was not as broad as now.

The YoBaby yogurt is sold in 6 packs of 4 oz containers. The flavors are pear and peach, banana and vanilla and finally blueberry and apple. They are sold in your local grocery store for around $3.29 a 6-pack.

Stonyfield Farm now sells "Baby's First Yogurt" which is called simply plain. This was not available when my daughter was younger or I would have started her on this product first.

YoBaby Plus comes in mixed berry and apple flavors. It has an iron fortified cereal added to the yogurt.

YoBaby Plus with DHA comes in strawberry-banana and raspberry-pear flavors.

There is also a new line of drinkable YoBaby yogurts. The retail price at my store is $3.59 for a 4 pack of 6 oz bottles.

They come in peach and banana flavors.

I like the Stonyfield Farm products because they are certified organic; meaning they contain no antibiotics or growth hormones.

Stonyfield Farm has a very informative website. You can opt to sign up for valuable coupons through the site. I highly recommend doing so.
