Yoga for Kids and Families in Central Massachusetts

Fun for Everyone

Pam Gaulin
Yoga is beneficial for both kids and adults. Kids are naturally open-minded, flexible and genuinely interested in trying new things. Yoga will can fulfill these needs in a child, while also getting them to move their bodies, and learn to actually like movement and physical activity.

Yoga classes for kids are not adult classes simply taught to kids and children. The classes are specifically designed for a select age group. The activities and yoga poses are geared toward the physical and emotional stage of those particular children.

If you are unsure about having your child try yoga, talk to the teachers at the studio, or see if you can watch part of a class so you can see what goes on in class.
