Yorkiepoo - the Perfect Dog - 10 Reasons to Love Them
This Adorable Breed is a Great Choice for Many Reasons.
Each of us has a kind of dog we love the best. For me, it's the Yorkiepoo. A mix of the poodle and terrier breeds, this hybrid combines the best of both worlds and is felt to bypass some of the genetic problems of the purebred animal.
Our little bundle of Yorkiepoo love came into our household nine and a half years ago.
Here are my top 10 reasons for choosing a Yorkiepoo as the perfect dog...
1- Yorkiepoos are clever and easy to train. The poodle is considered the smartest breed of dog and terriers are very intelligent, too. Put them both together and you've got one smart puppy.
2- Yorkiepoos are small, 10 to 15 pounds. Little dogs are definitely easier to manage than big dogs.
3- These little guys live to love you. They want nothing more than to sit on your lap or walk by your side. Our dog would climb inside our skin if she could!
4- No shedding! I know, you have to get them groomed, but I would rather take my dog for a haircut every six weeks than have dog hair all over the house. We had a short-haired lab/terrier mix prior to our Yorkiepoo and her hair was everywhere!
5- Yorkiepoos are playful and fun loving, even when they get old. Doing tricks for treats is a favorite game they never tire of.
6- Yorkiepoos are incredibly cute! They can look more terrier or more poodle, but they are all adorable. Many colors are available--see what the breeder has to choose from. Their ears can stand up like a terrier or hang down like a poodle's. Their fur can be straight like a terrier's or curly like a poodle's.
7- Yorkiepoos adapt to your environment. Apartments or mansions, they fit right in.
8- Yorkiepoos are healthy overall. Sometimes they can have problems with knee joints, though, so watch for this as they get older.
9- They love children and playing with them, but as with any dog, monitor your children in case they get too rough. Remember, these are small dogs and could be injured easily. Yorkiepoos often don't realize how small they are and act as feisty as a Great Dane!
10- If you have allergies, a Yorkiepoo is a great choice since it is hypoallergenic.
If you're shopping for a pet, keep the Yorkiepoo at the top of your list!
