Yosemite National Park Hotels

Yosemite National Park, situated in California, is known for being one of the United States most popular vacation spots, drawing millions of visitors every year. Tourists come from all over the world to view Yosemite's unmatched beauty with its waterfalls, wild flowers, streams, rivers, and its Giant Redwood Trees. Surrounding the park, there are hotel accommodations for those who need a place to stay while they explore all that Yosemite National Park has to offer.

The Ahwahnee Hotel

The Ahwahnee Hotel, first built back in 1927, has been on the list of America's national landmarks since June 2, 1987. The structure was built using rustic architecture with the floor made out of stone, wood, concrete and glass. It sits just under the Royal Arches rock formation which was once a village for the native Miwoks tribe. Just a few minutes from the Ahwahnee is the Upper Yosemite Falls as well as Vernal Falls, sitting within the park. The facility houses 123 guest rooms which are each decorated in a native American decor are furnished with refrigerators, microwave ovens, large flat-screen televisions, satellite television service with premium movie and sports stations, pillow-top mattresses, hypo-allergenic premium bedding, terry cloth bathrobes and hair dryers. Other amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool and a Ski-in/ski-out. A restaurants and a cocktail lounge are located on the hotel grounds.

Yosemite Lodge

The Yosemite Lodge, situated the Yosemite Village area, offers hotel accommodations within just a few minutes of Upper Yosemite Falls, El Capitan and Glacier Point. Vernal Falls is also just a few minutes from Yosemite Lodge. All of the guest rooms feature private balconies with spectacular views, microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffee makers, high-speed wireless access to the Internet, large digital flat-screen TVs, DVD players, complimentary video movies, satellite television with premium movie an sports stations, pillow-top mattresses and hair dryers. Also featured at this hotel is a Ski-in/ski-out, an outdoor heated swimming pool. A restaurant and a cocktail lounge are located on the Yosemite Lodge grounds.

Yosemite View Lodge

Sitting about 15 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park, is the Yosemite View Lodge, which lives up to its name, as the views of the park from this hotel are spectacular. This Yosemite National Park hotel accommodations sits on the banks of a river, featuring 335 guest rooms. Rooms are equipped with spa whirlpool baths, microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffee makers, cook-tops, ovens, cookware, utensils, premium cable television service, wireless high-speed access to the Internet and hair dryers. Guests have access to the outdoor heated swimming pool and the pool-side whirlpool at their leisure. The property also offers a restaurant and lounge.
