She developed a recipe based on a holistic approach with only wholesome ingredients. She calls it "Spot's Stew" and the kitten's health improved dramatically. Ellen DeGeneres's dog also developed an allergy to commercial pet food and when she was looking around for alternatives, she discovered Halo, Purely for Pets. When Ellen DeGeneres's dog's health also improved, she became a spokesperson and part owner in the company. Now, Ellen DeGeneres and Halo, Purely for Pets have combined forces to help feed pets in shelters nationwide and you can help, too.
