You Be the Judge
Earlier this week I published my first interview online through AC. They paid me okay for it, and I already had two others I was working on. Well, AC decided somehow that the next two did not meet their guidelines, so the only way they could be published was by me having to take them as performance payments.
I thought to myself that this was unusual since I had never done interviews until recently, but then again this is par for AC. So I had a fourth one pending for review. Then I came home yesterday to find that it, too, was not meeting their guidelines.
This is odd because the only difference is that I decided to write them the way I found some interviews in magazines I have. Apparently, AC is acting as Big Brother in this media game.
I can see why Tori no longer writes here. Don't worry. I will not leave unless it just gets so ridiculous that none of us will want to write here anymore.

I'm with Sophie- if AC didn't tell you how to improve the interviews, ask them. Don't give up so easy, Harold. Often times problems with AC are simply due to insufficient communication. They don't usually come to you, you have to go to them and ask questions. At least that's been my experience.
Did AC give you any idea of how to tweak your interviews and re-submit for upfront payment? I'm sorry that you are having problems right now with AC.

I usually just use performance payments on here because then things get down to the nitty gritty and everything is picked apart ...if that happened then nothing of mine would be published except for my poems--maybe. I also decided to start a blog site not for pay... just to keep people abreast of things....It's weird I know...just keep your head above water and I pray they pay you what ye deserve mister! *hugs*
