You Can Look Beautiful with the No Makeup Look

Amy Stepp
Every gal out there always wants to look like she is wearing make-up when in reality we hate putting it on, especially when it is layer after layer. By the time we get ready to go somewhere we often feel like "why do we even bother to wash our faces" because there is so much gunk on it. Pores are starting to clog and your face just feels nasty. I have a step by step guide on how you can achieve the no make-up look and still look absolutely beautiful.

Step 1
You will need to choose a tinted moisturizer. Now a days Jergens, Suave and a few other name brands are selling products that allow you to bring a little, soft glow to your face. You know that look like you just got the best tan of your life on your face. A moisturizer that has a little tint in it like bronzer will help you out so much.

Step 2
No streaks please when applying the application to the face. Make sure you use a small amount and apply it with a latex glove on your hand. Rub the moisturizer in extremely well.

Step 3
Now, you are going to have to use a small amount of make-up, however it is not a lot and after you use it you will feel like you didn't use any at all. Dan a big blush brush into translucent powder and softly dab it across your face.

Step 4
Clean the brush off with tissue and then dust your face one more time with the brush. You will wipe off any excess powder residue at this time. You are just trying to dim the glow on your face from the moisturizer.

Step 5
Curl your eye lashes. Make sure you hold the eye lash curler there for about ten to fifteen seconds. Once you have done that, apply some lash conditioning, clear mascara. This will strengthen your lashes and help them grow. If they get longer, then there will never been a need to add mascara again!

Step 6
The final step is to get a natural tint lip balm, or even a natural tint lip gloss. I am a fan of the Aqua Fina lip gloss. Dab your index finger with it and then dab your lips with your finger. Rub lips together and blot slightly to remove any high shine. You want a small amount of shine, or the just "licked lips" look.

Basically that is all I do and that is all you need to do. I rarely use make-up and when I do it is usually on a special occasion. No-one ever realizes that I have make-up on with the no make-up look I wear all the time to work. To be honest with you, I don't miss applying make-up for hours either!
