If you want to lose weight, exercise and watching what you eat is the best way to do it. The Atkin's Diet which has proven to be effective over the years does exactly that by decreasing the amount of carbohydrates you eat and substituting it for food that is rich in protein.

So if you think that going on an Atkin's diet will prevent you from enjoying some of life's pleasures, think again because here is a full course recipe you can take.

Every meal should start with an appetizer. For the Atkin's diet, you can try eating some garlic toasts crisps. To make it, all you need are some eggs, chopped garlic and oil. Once this is mixed and heated, you can serve it and only ingest 3 grams of carbohydrates and 6 grams of protein.

If you don't want to drink only water during the meal, try making cherry vanilla shake. To make this, you mix some vanilla, water and some cherry syrup.

For those who are not into appetizers, you can go ahead and have Asian Lobster Salad. The ingredients you need include a few slices of lobster meat, cabbages and some seasoning. People who eat this normally take in 40 grams of protein and only 12 grams of carbohydrates.

Now it is time for the main course and there are so many to choose from. A personal favorite is Pork Stew with Hominy and Collards. To do this, you cut the meat into small pieces and then add vegetables and seasoning.

As for desert, nothing comes close to chocolate. You can get a piece from the box or make it yourself by mixing some unsweetened chocolate, powder, eggs, butter and cream. After mixing everything you put this in the oven and what you have is Bittersweet Chocolate Mountain Drops ready to be eaten after several minutes.

If you look at what you have consumed, you will more or less consume more than the double the amount of protein compared to carbohydrates. The full course meal mentioned is just one example with many more available in cookbooks and online.
