Apple will decline quickly now, just as they did last time, and for the same reasons: only a very few people in the world have the gift of vision: just naturally being able to know what is coming. There is no substitute: Steve could see where things were going and get there first, and he had the authority and the ability and the drive and the thick skin to do it.

Goodbye to you, Steve - my last apple device was a competitor to the 386; my next computer was a 486 - but I will never forget Steve, and what he taught the world about the value of one very good man.

Have a good rest Steve: your legacy will never die, and I will never forget you. Goodbye to you, CRT screens, SEO, static websites, phones that only talk, printed books, and the past!
