You Too Can Survive the Economy

It Will Get Better

The economy stinks, thanks to... no names mentioned. But guess what? Things are going to get better. How do I know? Because I believe.

My family and I are living in the same economy as everyone else. We are having the same problems as everyone else. Yet, we are making it through the economy by living each day one at a time.

I used to be the type of person who would let everything get me down. Now, I have realized that if I am down and out, I am not living I am merely existing.

Sure, the economy is rough, people are out of jobs, and things are tough everywhere you look.

"When things get tough, the tough get going." That is probably one of the most famous sayings. To me it is one of the truest. It takes a tough person to live in today's world.

You know what, my family and I can do it, are doing it, and will not stop doing it. If my husband gets down and out, I kick him in the rear and tell him to stop feeling sorry for himself. It gets him no where. He does the same thing for me in return.

This economy for me is a learning and time to grow experience. My family and I thank God every day for what we do have and not think about what we do not. My theory is, if we do not have it then we do not need it. Yes, there is a big difference in need and want. In my forty years I have learned that first hand experience.

I guess one of my favorite sayings is "When one door closes, a window opens." I have found that to be completely true. I was supposed to get a job which fell through, yes, because of the economy. Now, I am writing on the internet, enjoying it tremendously, and I can be home with my family. I may not make as much money, but I have learned that every (and I mean every) bit helps. And guess what, today I got another job and still get to stay at home with my family.

You see, there is one thing I should tell you. I am a Christian, and I believe 100% in God. He is the One who has brought all of the good things into my life. He is the one seeing my family and me through this time. And, I know He will never ever let us down.

I get all of my strength and courage from God. In today's society and economy, strength and courage are a must.

My family and I are struggling just like everyone else, but we are not letting it get us down. We just make each day count and live it to the fullest.

I have learned one very important thing...giving up is not an option! Never give up because there will be a rainbow after this storm.

Without the rain, rainbows are meaningless. Sorry. I am very tired.
