Brant saved his change in coffee cans, piggy banks and water jugs. You, I and anyone else could accomplish the same thing Brant did. We just need to practice the same type of discipline Brant does.
This is what we have to do:
1. Set a goal for what you'd like to do with your spare change. Also set a timeline for accomplishing your goal. For instance, you might set a goal of purchasing a new car for cash in 10 years, or paying for your child's private school tuition in 3 years.
2. Throw all of your spare change into a container every day.
3. When the container is full, put it in a closet, in a basement...somewhere where it will be out of sight and out of mind.
4. Start a new saving container.
5. Once you have saved for the requisite amount of years, get some coin rolls and start rolling up your coins.
6. Count your money and spend it on your goal purchase.
You will be amazed at what you can do with the spare change you usually waste.
