to come out, then, have fun;

You wait for the night,

to disappear from your sight.

You wait for the rain,

to fall from the sky;

You wait for the pain,

to subside after a cry.

You wait for the bud,

to blossom fully;

You wait for the egg,

to hatch slowly.

You wait for the waves,

to rush to the shore;

You wait for the tide,

to rise and to fall.

You wait for a baby,

to be born to a family;

You wait for a kid,

to grow and succeed.

You wait for your life,

to end eventually;

You wait for the Lord,

to bring you home safely.
