Were you always the last person chosen to be a part of the team while playing at school or in your neighborhood? I was.
It wasn't a good feeling always being the last one selected. It was as if I was chosen by default. And now all these years later I'm still not a sports icon. Oh well, some dreams may never be realized.
If the game of kickball is something that you love or would like to improve your skills in, now you can.
WHAT: Adult Kickball League
WHEN: Begins on June 14 (Tuesday)
DURATION: 6 weeks long. Games on Tuesdays
LOCATION OF GAMES: Kenagy Park at 79th St. and Raytown Rd, Raytown, MO 64138
COST: $160 per co-ed team of up to 20 people per team
REGISTRATION: Team and individual through Park and Recreation Department
EQUIPMENT: Provided by Raytown Parks and Recreation along with an umpire for each game
GAMES: 55 minutes per game and no limit on home runs scored
RULES: Standard rules will be implemented with some safety rules to achieve a fun and safe environment
